{"id":3117,"date":"2004-03-24T15:46:22","date_gmt":"2004-03-24T20:46:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/lia.bulaong.com\/wp\/?p=3117"},"modified":"2004-03-24T15:46:22","modified_gmt":"2004-03-24T20:46:22","slug":"im_sorry_so_so_sorry","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lia.bulaong.com\/blog\/2004\/03\/im_sorry_so_so_sorry\/","title":{"rendered":"i&#8217;m sorry, so so sorry"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>My second day at my current place of employment, I was happily chowing down on some fried chicken in the shared kitchen when the co-founder came up behind me and stared at my plate. &#8220;Oh, you eat meat?&#8221; she said. &#8220;Thank god you&#8217;re here, I thought we were going to be outnumbered by the vegans!&#8221;<br \/>\nAnd before you ask, yes, obviously I am working at a non-profit.<br \/>\nAnyway, today we had a mini-party to celebrate our lovely office manager&#8217;s birthday, complete with cake and ice cream&mdash;only the ice cream was actually <b>soy cream<\/b>. Double <strike>Happiness&#8217;<\/strike> Rainbow&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.doublerainbow.com\/products\/products.html\">Vanilla Bean Soy Cream<\/a>, to be precise.<br \/>\nAgainst all odds, Miss Dedicated Carnivore here tasted it. And&#8230; it tasted like raw cookie dough&mdash;only much, much better. And not only did I like it, I liked it so much so that I actually <b>went back for seconds<\/b>.<br \/>\nNow I feel dirty for liking <a href=\"http:\/\/hello.typepad.com\/\">crazy vegan<\/a> soy cream, so dirty and so guilty.
